CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Entry Level Safety Coordinator.

Role and Responsibilities

* Maintains required safety documents/files

* Monitors reporting of and investigates near-miss situations

* Conducts periodic safety walk-through inspections of all workplace facilities, identifying potential hazards and ensuring appropriate corrective action is taken

* Completes inspections of safety equipment at all workplace facilities

* Participates in safety investigations and audits

* Participates in the injury investigation and reporting process

* Participates in and maintain minutes of safety committee meetings, working with leadership to ensure action items are followed through until completion

* Provides safety training as needed

* Provides safety program support in areas including but not limited to employee, contractors, and facility safety; safety training

* Assists with executing the organizations and departments overall risk and safety strategy

* Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department

* May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Associates Degree in related field preferred

* OSHA 10-hour training preferred

* Proficient English abilities required

* Must be able to perform multiple duties and complete assigned duties with deadlines

* Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge

* Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies

* Excellent time-management skills

* Familiarity with continuous improvement methods, preferred

* Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with general supervision

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

* Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)

* Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.

* Push/pull up to 10 lbs.

* Frequent sitting, bending, and twisting

* Occasional stooping or crouching

* Use of small hand tools
