Housekeeper

Clean, wash, polish, sanitize, deodorize and disinfect all areas and items in the facility including furnishings, fixtures, trash bins, windows, mirrors, floors, carpets, walls, ceilings, bathrooms, etc.

using proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions and procedures

Ensure that work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner; clearly marked with caution or safety signs as required.

Complete projects as directed by Supervisor and Cross-Train in all areas of Environmental Services

Ensure that established Universal Precautions and infection control, isolation, fire, safety and sanitation practices and procedures are maintained and followed when performing housekeeping duties

Properly report all hazardous conditions and equipment to the Director of Environmental Services and / or the Administrator.

Ensure that equipment, work and supply carts are properly cleaned and stored

Advise Director of Environmental Services of supplies needed

Ensure that all lighting is in proper working order at all times

Assist others in lifting heavy equipment, supplies or articles as requested

Heavy Equipment : Housekeepers may be required to do project work, including but not limited to stripping and refinishing, etc utilizing

Maintains resident confidentiality and privacy at all times and adheres to corporate compliance guidelines

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time weekends

Pay : From $13.50 per hour

Shift :

• 8 hour shift
• Day and evening shifts
