HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities):

The primary role of the Maintenance Technician is to support DDL’s facilities by maintaining and repairing equipment and procuring supplies, parts, and services as necessary. 

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on test equipment.
• Assist Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor with working with outside service providers and vendors.
• Assist Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor with maintaining a reasonable inventory of parts and supplies.
• Installation and qualification of new or used equipment.
• Due to the unpredictability of mechanical systems, the ability to work overtime after regular work hours or on weekends may be necessary. 
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

• Two-year technical degree in HVAC or similar 
• Understanding of facilities and maintenance concepts
• Advanced environmental chamber functionality
• Blueprint reading
• EPA certified to handle refrigerant
• Microsoft Office
• Must bend/twist at the waste consistently on a daily basis, must be able to lift 20 lbs. consistently on a daily basis.
