POSITION: Property/Building Maintenance Technician

STATUS: Non-Exempt

HOURS: Full time Monday through Friday (specific hours may vary)

LOCATION: Stillwater, MN

COMPENSATION: Hourly rate dependent upon experience ($25.00 - $30.00 per hour). No housing provided. Eligible for overtime pay.

POSITION SUMMARY: Exciting opportunity for an experienced property/buildingmaintenance technician for a community association located in Stillwater, MN.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Two years of maintenance experience, preferably in a condominium or apartment building environment
• Experience with planning and follow-thru of seasonal duties
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects/tasks
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to utilize hand tools and small power tools to complete repairs/tasks
• Maintenance skills associated with the upkeep of building interiors and exteriors (examples: replacing light bulbs, painting, watering lawns, picking up and emptying trash, repairing/tightening railings, small appliance repairs, filling water softeners, etc.)
• Assist property management staff as necessary
• Mindful of surroundings and instinct to respond to needs without instruction
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday
• Ability to understand and utilize software systems to receive, track, update and close assigned work orders
• CPO license strongly preferred (not required)*
• Boiler license strongly preferred (not required)*

(*) – If license is not currently held, the employer will pay for classes and testing in order for the applicant to obtain licensing.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Consistent walking and standing are required

Consistent monitoring of email, texts, and phone calls during work hours

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to move and stand on a ladder
