Reports To: Sr. Manager, IT Implementation & Project Services
Location: Nashville, TN (onsite)
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year
Travel: Up to 30%
The Implementation Engineer builds relationships with client leadership to evaluate existing environments and execute transition of IT services and infrastructure to company standards. This role is responsible for discovery, planning, migration, documentation, and communication throughout the onboarding process.
5 years Architect Microsoft 365 and Azure skills including Azure Virtual Network, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Network Gateway
Hands-on system and network migrations including VMWare vSphere ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V
Server, virtualization, and network infrastructure skills
Understanding of systems and application architectures
Ability to travel up to 30%
Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent experience
7 years in enterprise IT environments
Project management skills
Healthcare industry experience (preferred)
Assess current IT infrastructure, policies, processes, and contracts
Identify security and compliance issues
Determine hardware lifecycles and standardization gaps
Architect Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions including Azure Virtual Network, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Network Gateway
Create transition plans and build documentation
Work with vendors to migrate services and data
Manage Azure environments within budget
Perform hands-on system and network migrations including VMWare vSphere ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V
Establish partnerships with client leadership and current IT providers
Conduct onsite visits to evaluate existing environments
Communicate company IT offerings and strategy
Document client configurations, systems, and processes
Train service delivery team for handoff
Regular and reliable attendance
Other duties as assigned
Work efficiently with minimal supervision
Handle multiple simultaneous tasks
Exercise good judgement and influence
Detail-oriented and organized
Maintain confidential information
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if needed
