Sharp, Ricoh and Kyocera experience is a plus but not required. In this role, you will be required to set up new systems, perform routine maintenance, and resolve technical issues. You should be able to accurately diagnose faulty equipment and implement effective repairs.To ensure success as a Copier \ Document Imaging technician, you should have good knowledge of copying, scanning, faxing, and printing technology. This position also requires great analytical thinking abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills. Ultimately, a top-notch technician should demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, and be able to provide customers with in-depth training and support.Printer Technician Responsibilities:
Setting up and installing new MFPs, printers, and document management software. This may include the delivery of equipment to the customer location.
Providing routine service and maintenance to MFPs and printers.
Troubleshooting and repairing MFPs and printers.
Troubleshooting and resolution of printing and scanning issues.
Providing demonstrations and customer training.
Managing stock of parts and supplies used in maintenance and repair.
Providing excellent customer support and service.
Managing schedules and customer emergencies.
Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and practices in the industry.
Be available to attend manufacturer training as required. This may involve online training or travel to the manufacturer’s training location.
A and Net certification is required within 6 months of hire.
A professional appearance is a must.
Must have a clean driving record, the ability to travel to customer sites, and work independently.
