The Development Coordinator is responsible for efficiently coordinating and performing the full range of the day to day administrative functions of the Crouse Hospital Foundation office, assisting with special CHF projects and events, processing fund requests, coordinating donor communication, processing accounts payable and managing the restricted fund requests, providing support for the Foundation Board and its committees including meeting planning and setup.
This in-person and on-site role is a key member part of a small team at the Crouse Health Foundation, a 501c3 incorporated in 1974 as the fundraising arm of Crouse Health. We are celebrating our 50th Anniversary in 2024. Our mission is to support Crouse Health in providing the best in patient care and promoting community health. The Foundation is governed by a voluntary board of directors, responsible for the investment, management and administration of all funds and other property given to Crouse.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma with three (3) years experience in an administrative or office position. Associates degree preferred with three (3) years experience in an administrative or office position.
Commitment to adhere to the practices outlined in "A Donor Bill of Rights" and AHP/AFP statements of professional standards and conduct. Prior experience working in a foundation setting supporting a team of philanthropy professionals and a board of directors preferred.
Salary: $55,000- $70,000 based on experience
