We are looking for an organized and compassionate certified medical assistant to greet patients, schedule appointments and collect personal information from patients. The certified medical assistant is also responsible for taking vital signs, helping providers with diagnoses, and collecting lab samples. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for obtaining patient records and test results, coordinating daily administrative tasks, preparing treatment rooms for examinations, and assisting our practitioners during medical procedures.
To be successful as a certified medical assistant you must have excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. A good certified medical assistant can multitask in stressful situations and have at least one to two years of prior experience in a medical setting. A basic understanding of patient care and medical terminology will be a huge advantage for you.
Certified Medical Assistant that provides high standard of patient care. Organize duties and tasks to constantly improve office operations. Follow all guidelines for lab operations and point of care testing. Assists providers with examinations, performs EKG's, venipuncture, and injections. Always uses effective communication to communicate with patients, staff, and physicians. Utilize ordering systems to maintain adequate clinical supplies. Ensure high quality clinical care for patients by reviewing and researching concerns or complaints and recommending corrective action as appropriate. Organizes day to day workflow by pre visit planning, checking pdmps, providing follow up instructions, patient education. Develop documents that will prepare patients for referrals, and different procedures and test relevant to clinic location. Develop and carry out ideas that focus on patient retention. Assist in other areas of business operations like administrative task and marketing when needed.
