ABOUT CROSSROADS:
Crossroads Church is a multi-site, interdenominational church in the Midwest. Our Churches are primarily located in Ohio and Kentucky, and we have an online presence that serves thousands of people monthly.
We believe that telling the redemptive story of Jesus is the best story we could ever tell, and you will notice that we love to use the best tools to get that story out to the world. We value creativity, adventure, authenticity, and tenacity.
Our desire is to model our staff and church community after the church in Revelation, where people of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues worshiped [and worked] together. Admittedly, we are not there, but we think about this with every hire and person who enters our buildings.
JOB SUMMARY
Fellows, Full-Time position.
Fellows is a year-long, full-time paid position to explore fit and calling in different areas of ministry. During this 12-month commitment, Fellows take on meaningful ministry responsibilities while being developed by experienced leaders. We are committed to equipping a pipeline of young leaders who want to pursue ministry as a full-time career.
JOB SPECIFIC PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to practical experience through formal work responsibilities in a site specific or ministry role.
An opportunity to gain exposure to various ministries outside of your main role to better understand how the church operates as a whole, what it means to be a generalist in ministry, and discern where your fit or calling may be.
Participate in development opportunities which will equip and prepare Fellows to thrive in ministry long-term.
Meet with the current group of Fellows and the Next Gen Leaders staff for training, community, and development.
Actively engage in the Seven Proven Practices: Get Baptized, Join Community, Connect with God Daily, Live Generously, Share Your Story, Receive Weekly Teaching, and Serve Others.
Volunteer to be a C group leader for Crossroads Students Camps.

JOB SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

Scholars Alumni
Completed at least 1 internship at Crossroads
Continued active participation in Crossroads Church

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Flexible and willing to adapt to change

Develop authentic ongoing relationships with leaders and ministry teams
Proficient with computer tools, such as Google, Asana, Slack, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Performs effectively under pressure and against strict time constraints.Must be able to walk up to 3 miles.Able to lift 25 lbs.

SCHEDULING/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Regular schedule depends on the needs of your site or ministry team. A lot of ministry happens in the evenings and weekends, you’ll need to be available to accommodate the needs of ministry. May be required to travel to other sites occasionally for meetings and exposure opportunities.
Must be willing to work on Sundays (even if placed outside of a site) and travel to different Crossroads sites for exposure and to meet ministry needs

Availability: Expected to work outside of “normal” schedule for All Hands on Deck high-impact events (Holy Week/Easter, Super Bowl, Christmas, others as needed), participate in all-staff meetings, day of solitude, offsites, etc.
