General Description Our Facilities Maintenance Technician helps to maintain safe, beautiful ministry environments and functional ministry spaces on both our Church and School campuses. Essential Job Functions
Assists in all construction and modification projects that do not require external contractor involvement
Assists in maintaining full functional use of all electrical and mechanical systems for the church and school
Collaborates with the Facilities department to ensure timely responses and swift closures of facilities work requests
Alerts the Construction and Facilities Manager to any facility issues that may affect the physical safety and well-being of any person on campus
Surveys buildings and mechanical systems to ensure they are maintained to health and safety standards
Assists in the installation of heating, ventilation, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical and other systems and conducts repairs as needed
Performs manual repairs on both campuses as necessary
Follows general campus upkeep procedures

High School diploma or GED required
Two years working in the trades preferred
Air conditioning certification preferred
Driver's license preferred
Other Requirements
Possess and demonstrate a working knowledge of Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical maintenance, drywall installation and repair, painting, and the use of specialized tools
Live out the Crossroads Staff values and fulfill all staff expectations
Working Conditions
Lifting up to 50 lbs
Sitting, kneeling or standing for long periods of time
Climbing up and down stairs or Ladders
Working at heights of up to 30ft
Work in tight spaces
Lifting up to 20 lbs over head
Work on rooftops
Work with mechanical lifts (scissor lift, Boom, Forklift)
