Goods Receiver

We are looking for an eager Goods Receiver to join the team at Warren Street Hotel. The ideal candidate will be trained and proficient in lifting and handling techniques and will have experience in the food service and/or hospitality industry. In addition to being an exceptional team player, this candidate would possess excellent organizational skills, great attention to detail and is driven by delivering exceptional service.

MAIN DUTIES:

• Accurately record all deliveries and monitor stock levels including alcoholic beverages within the hotel 
• Guarantee all stock received are delivered to the designated storage place and/or holding area
• Ensure that the storerooms run smoothly and efficiently

• Distribute stock correctly across the hotel departments by the required times 
• Manage stock rotation effectively so products are used and consumed in date sequence to minimize wastage
• Liaise with managers daily to advise of all deliveries contingent on daily service needs
• Maintain an open line of communicate with the Stock Controller 
• Build positive relationships and sustain a high level of professionalism with vendors and delivery personnel

• Update, maintain and file daily order/ delivery paperwork to ensure accurate recording 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent computer skills, especially proficient in Microsoft Excel 
• Excellent communication and numerical skills 
• Possess the ability to multitask and problem solve
• Proactive and enthusiastic team player 
• Part-time position; weekends availability is a must
