Primary Responsibilities: 

Primary responsibility is to architect and provide support to management for the program’s data management framework necessary to maintain synchronized program life-cycle technical and programmatic data across multiple levels of classification. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the requisite data relationships across and within the Government and Industry Product Life-Cycle management and Digital Engineering (DE) environments are effectively architected, certified, and establish a complete, synchronized, and authoritative source for the program’s dynamic technical baseline. Responsible to ensure that the necessary Government access, control, and approvals are maintained over the program’s technical baselines. Responsible to ensure that the data interfaces across all Product Life-Cycle Management and DE applications are established and maintained in alignment with the program’s DE vision. The architect will use data modeling and data analytics skills to understand and leverage relationships among various data elements. The candidate will be required to work with the engineering and IT/Cyber personnel to ensure that the program’s holistic data management framework is certified in accordance with Cyber/IA policies.

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar related field from an accredited college or university. Master’s degree in a related technical field.

Required Experience:

Candidate must have at least ten (10) years of experience in computer science, data science, computer engineering, or digital engineering systems design. At least five of those years must demonstrate recent experience in data science, data analytics, or similar fields. 

Allowable Experience/Education Substitutions: Experience cannot be substituted for education.

Other Desired Experience:

• Candidate should have knowledge of digital engineering and model base systems engineering.
• Candidate should have experience with big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, modeling and simulation, and architecting data flows between systems.
• Candidate should have demonstrated good oral and written communication skills.
• Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment.

Security Clearance Required: A Final DoDTop Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 6 years.

Estimated Travel: 20%
