The Shift Equipment Technician is responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment in their assigned area, while working in partnership with Shift Ops team members, area equipment engineers and tool vendors. Shift Equipment Technicians monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain, Repair, and Calibrate Equipment
Diagnose equipment problems and implement solutions.
Evaluate problems using proven systematic troubleshooting methods.
Use applicable equipment tracking system to obtain equipment history.
Ensure record keeping/documentation in equipment tracking system.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Perform calibrations on area equipment.
Comply with standardize procedures and guidelines.
Stay current on process and equipment procedures.
Keep work areas clean and organize.
Install new equipment -Modify/convert equipment as needed.
Monitor Equipment to Ensure it Runs Efficiently
Remain actively involved in quality equipment improvement.
Assist with experiments or equipment evaluations to reduce inefficiencies.
Assist and Maintain EHSS (Environmental, Health, Safety, Security) Requirements
Follow EHSS guidelines included in work instructions.
Report conditions or behaviors that are contrary to EHSS policies or procedures.
Requirements:
Preferred Associates Degree or equivalent experience in technical field
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Active position requires extensive walking in labs/buildings.
Able to follow procedures/SOP.
Organization skills highly desired
Ability to work independently.
The ability to collaborate well with team members.
Windows/Linux experience helpful
Verbal/written communications skills to enable customer satisfaction.
Work 12hr shifts rotating day/night every 4 months.

Salary: $21.95 - $25.00 per hour
