Responsibilities

Seeking a mission-focused cleared Java Software Engineer to support and contribute to our government customers’ success in Sterling, Virginia—Must have the required clearance to be considered for this opening!

As a Software Engineer, you will be a part of a collaborative team of teams integrating capabilities from several applications and developing new functionality to meet the needs of users and stakeholders. You will contribute to the design, development, test, and integration of many components within a microservice architecture.

Qualifications

Required Experience, Skills, & Technologies

• An active TS/SCI security clearance, preferably with a CI polygraph
• Five (5) years of experience in software development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance) required.
• Bachelors’ degree in engineering, computer science, or a technical discipline.
• Experience as a software developer or software engineer
• Experience with Javaand Object-oriented programming 
• In depth knowledge of architecture styles and APIs, including REST, SOAP, etc. 

Desired Experience, Skills & Technologies

• Security certification
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Minikube, etc. 
• Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Experience with ElasticSearch
• Experience with AWS environments
• Experience working in a SAFeAgile environment 

Security Clearance Requirement

• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Schedule Weekly Hours

• Hybrid - part-time onsite, part-time remote.
