Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Traveling Restaurant Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the hospitality industry, possess exceptional training and communication skills, and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality training programs. As a Traveling Restaurant Trainer, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent standards and exceptional customer experiences across our restaurant locations through effective training programs.
Training Program Development:
Implement comprehensive training programs for restaurant staff, including front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Stay updated on industry trends, customer expectations, and company policies to incorporate relevant content into training materials.
On-Site Training:
Travel to various restaurant locations to deliver on-site training sessions.
Conduct hands-on training sessions for both new hires and existing staff to ensure consistent adherence to company standards.
Provide training on customer service, food safety, menu knowledge, and operational procedures.
Performance Evaluation:
Assess the effectiveness of training programs through observation, feedback, and performance metrics.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans as needed.
Collaboration:
Work closely with restaurant managers, district managers, and other stakeholders to understand specific training needs and challenges at each location.
Collaborate with the training team to share best practices and enhance the overall training program.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and performance evaluations.
Prepare and submit detailed training reports to management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Adaptability:
Stay flexible and adapt training methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and cultural differences among restaurant staff.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a restaurant trainer or in a similar training role within the hospitality industry.
In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service, and food safety standards.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to travel extensively and work a flexible schedule.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Certifications in training or hospitality management are a plus.
