The Concessions QA Supervisor Position reports to the Concession Manager and works closely with the District Safety Manager to ensure that food safety is a top priority to hourly concession workers, stand managers and supervisors during events. 

Job Responsibilities

The QA Supervisor is the extra set of eyes, ears and hands during events for the Food Safety Team. This includes acting as a coach and on-the-spot trainer related to the safe handling of food during delivery, prep, cooking and service. The successful candidate will work to build strong relationships with employees in an effort to become a trusted resource when there are questions or issues related to food safety procedures. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

• Monitor the maintenance of daily temperature logs
• Alert management when items/areas do not meet quality expectations. 
• Ask customers about the quality of their service and handle any complaints while maintaining a positive attitude and smile.
• Coordinate and assist in maintaining a clean work areas
• Ensure that all work areas are being cleaned and sanitized through inspection and testing
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by cart. 
• Assist with daily safety observations and report safety hazards discovered in the location to management immediately
• Cross-train in areas as the need arises
• Completion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Aramark management team.
• Request support from utility workers for sanitation issues of the line as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates from all professional and educational backgrounds will be considered. Successful candidates will be self-starters who possess the ability to communicate confidently and professionally, a fast-paced sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize multiple competing responsibilities without losing sight of bigger picture goals and duties. 
• Great customer service and interpersonal skills 
• Strong Leadership and supervisory skills 
• Ability to work in a team environment 
• Ability to pass a Serve Safe Certification
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions 
• Food Service Experience preferred 
• Ability to work inside kitchen area, interact with heated equipment, steam, loud noise, chemicals and other at risk conditions 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
