Summary

Rowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for a Project Manager who will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful implementation of projects while maintaining the site safety program. Collaborating across various disciplines within Rowan, including development, commercial, legal, engineering, and construction, this role will develop and execute comprehensive project plans. The responsibilities will include creating schedules, critical path timelines, and managing project budgets, alongside collaborating with project executives to ensure financial forecasts align with project goals.

The Project Manager will be responsible for creating construction management plans, developing project schedules with critical path milestones, and managing project resources, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and equipment vendors. Additionally, this role will oversee meeting logistics, document proceedings, and distribute meeting minutes to stakeholders.

Ability to travel up to 50% to project sites.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain Rowan site safety program.
  • Oversight and the implementation and successful completion of the project.
  • Work across Rowan disciplines (development, commercial, legal, engineering, construction, etc.) project team to develop and implement a comprehensive approach and project plan.
  • Develop a schedule and critical path timeline.
  • Develop project budget and monthly project spend and financial forecast.
  • Work with project executives to create and manage project budgets.
  • Create a construction management plan.
  • Develop a project schedule with critical path milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage project resources such as the A&E team, GC, Subcontractors, 3rd party consultant’s vendors, and equipment vendors and document performance.
  • Schedule, develop agenda, document, and distribute meeting minutes from OAC meetings.
  • Allocate and manage project resources and logistics.
  • Create and update project status reports for project stakeholders.
  • Manage project budget, change orders, and payment applications.
  • Work with the project team and local JHA to secure permissions and permits for construction.
  • Ensure the onsite Construction management processes are being performed such that the project is completed safely, on time, on budget, and to the high-quality standards Rowan expects.
  • Use the Rowan software toolset to deliver the project. The toolset will be used to manage project information, document control, change order management, project finances, and closeout. These tools would include but not be limited to the following: Procore, Microsoft project, and coordination of BIM models.

Education, Skills, and Experience

  • BS in engineering, construction management, or similar education.
  • 10 years working as a project manager leading teams to design and construct large campus industrial or greenfield data centers.
  • 5 years of experience with data center engineering/construction (nice to have).
  • PMP certification (nice to have).
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Ability to travel extensively to the project site.
