Job Description
Responsibilities
· Perform detailed examination and analysis of financial records to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
· Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
· Assist in the planning and execution of financial audits for clients
· Conduct substantive testing of financial transactions and account balances
· Prepare income tax returns for business and individual clients
· Collaborate with team members to deliver quality client service
· Stay updated on accounting standards and income tax matters
Requirements
Minimum
· Bachelor's degree in accounting
· 3 years of public accounting experience with a blend of audit, financial statement and tax work
· Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
· Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Preferred
· CPA certification or actively working towards obtaining certification
· Work on-site, possibly hybrid
· Experience using CCH suite of Accounting and Tax software
