We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Property Accountant to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. This is not a remote position, but we allow flexibility on an as needed basis.

What you'll do*
This position will perform the following duties and responsibilities for the financial services and property management teams.

• Responsible for all property management financial reporting needs
• Reconciliation of revenue and customer receivable data between the property management software and bank statements
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Reconcile all sub-ledgers (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, etc.)
• Responsible for timely submission of month end reports
• Assist property managers with tracking and recording of tenant billings
• Assist property managers with data entry and reporting to owners

Qualifications*
This position requires the following skills and qualifications.

• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent education/experience
• Five (5) years previous accounting or book keeping experience required
• Microsoft Excel and Word software experience is required
• Yardi software experience is preferred
• Possess a high level of accuracy, efficiency and accountability
• Must be detail oriented, organized and self-motivated
• Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen (both required)

The pay range for this role is:
60,000 - 70,000 USD per year (Cressy Mishawaka)
