The position is responsible for the development and execution of sales efforts and must possess the passion to identify, qualify, and close new revenue opportunities within all segments.

• Direct activities of the hotel sales team, providing leadership and motivation necessary to implement effective sales strategies to achieve room revenue goals
• Conducts sales solicitation by phone, email communication, appointment, site tours and lunches
• Develop relationship with key account to create trust, loyalty and lasting business relationships
• Negotiate rates and manage the contracting process
• Understands and follows appropriate protocol in sales/management
• Follow up on leads in a timely manner or delegate accordingly
• Develop and facilitate sales and marketing presentations to prospective clients
• Complete Sales reports, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Review and Analyze market intelligence reports
• Work alongside Director of Sales & Marketing to achieve mutually agreed upon Revpar and revenue goals
• Entertain clients and host FAM trips
• Provide department colleagues with proper communication that will enhance their ability to deliver exceptional service
