Crescent Bank is Hiring a Vice President of Collections Near Carrollton, TX

About the Position:
This position plans and directs all aspects of Early to Late-stage Collections, Early Payment Defaults, and Specialty Collections. The VP of Collections supervises managers, staff, and vendors to perform tasks effectively to achieve business goals across multiple Collections teams. This role reports directly to the COO.
Position Requirements:
  • Excellent business acumen. Able to analysis call center financial and production metrics and interpret into actionable business improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of personnel within the organization, including presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, and clients.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop, improve, and drive processes, methodologies, and metrics to meet operational standards.
  • Inspire, coach, and mentor direct reports to maximize their strengths and enhance their effectiveness.
  • Manages teams by assigning and prioritizing work, setting expectations, and implementing and utilizing performance measures.
  • Advise Chief Operations Officer on collection treatment strategies, emerging performance trends, and effectiveness of operating procedures.
  • Interact daily with direct and indirect reports to source front line feedback on the effectiveness of operating strategies.
  • Analyze performance and operational data to identify trends.
  • Develop processes and strategies that enhance the customer experience.
  • Create and reinforce a workplace culture that represents the bank's Core Values.
  • Administer disciplinary action, when appropriate, according to corporate policies and procedures set by the Human Resources Department.
  • Monitors and maintains quality assurance and regulatory compliance to ensure policies and procedures adherence with no process gaps. Has a strong understanding of collection-related state and federal regulatory guidelines such as but not limited to FDCPA, CFPB, SCRA, UDAAP, TCPA.
  • Manage vendors to meet performance objectives, as needed for the business.

Additional Information:
  • BS/BS Degree, Advanced degree (MBA, Masters).
  • 10 years in Collection or bankruptcy/loss mitigation management
  • CBS Call Model experience and certification preferred.
