We are currently looking for a qualified Warehouse Lead for a Madison flooring company. This position will include the following responsibilities:
-Warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, sorting products, and preparing orders
-Maintaining accurate inventory levels
-Keeping company vehicle fleet in safe operable conditions
-Ability to operate computer system for receiving and printing of needed documents
-Communicating effectively with coworkers, subcontractors and customers
-Supervising and scheduling delivery driver/warehouse assistant
-Picking up products from local vendors.
-Various occasional building and grounds related maintenance projects
-Delivering and unloading product at job sites when delivery driver is unavailable
Our standard work week is Monday through Friday, the typical hours are 6:30am-3:30pm with an hour lunch, though we are able to accommodate some flexibility here when needed.
Minimum requirements:
-High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
-Valid driver's license.
-18 years of age or older.
-Full body mobility, with the capacity to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
-Must have the ability to frequently lift 30-50 lbs at a time and occasionally more.
-Have a positive, friendly attitude.
-You will not need a CDL to operate our box truck but you will need to pass a DOT physical and previous experience driving larger vehicles is a plus.
-Forklift experience is necessary.
