Robert Half has partnered with a real estate firm in Lakewood in search of a Staff Accountant! The Staff Accountant position is offering a hybrid work schedule, great benefits and is paying $65,000-$85,000!
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare periodic financial statement reporting package for delivery to our customers
- Perform all functions of accounting, from recording journal entries to preparing financial statements
- Complete and file premium tax returns and other regulatory filings
- Serve as a client contact and respond to complex client needs and questions to improve the client experience
- With general supervision, you would be responsible for moderately complex accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger as well as the resulting managerial reports and financial statements
- Drive relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth
- Ability to pay attention to detail and autonomously prioritize tasks
- Proactively identify clients’ needs while also offering solutionsÂ
Requirements for the Staff Accountant include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 1 years of accounting experience in real estate, property management, multi-entity or public accounting
- Proficient with Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs
