About the Staff Accountant Role: The Staff Accountant will play a major role in month end close and work very closely with senior leadership. The role is designed for a new accounting grad and the perfect opportunity to develop their skillset. Our client is in the manufacturing space and looking for a team player!
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Reconcile key balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Research and resolve general ledger discrepancies and issues
- Participate in the month-end close
Education and requirements of the Staff Accountant:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures
