Location : Annapolis, MD or Baltimore, MD

Office Setup : Hybrid role - minimum 2-3 days in-office per week

Salary : $72K - $85K, plus a tempting 10% bonus potential

Your Role:

As a Staff Accountant, Financial Reporting, reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting, you'll support full-cycle accounting, reporting, and ad-hoc projects. This highly visible role contributes to enhancing financial reporting processes by streamlining information gathering and process documentation.

• Stay updated on new accounting and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with international teams to ensure compliance with accounting principles.
• Research and analyze complex accounting issues and provide recommendations to management.

Experience They are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience with Big 4 accounting firms, National Accounting Firms, or private industry.
• Experience in real estate or private equity accounting and researching accounting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• CPA or CPA candidacy (a plus).
• Familiarity with Yardi (beneficial but not mandatory).
