Overview of the Project Management Application Support Analyst role:
- Responsible for project management tasks and assists in interdepartmental projects
- Creation of scope documents
- Responsible for implementing business processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to departmental initiatives
- Responsible for improving and documenting the technical processes around application support
- Ensure the performance of daily health checks of the applications, scripts, and infrastructure
- Responsible for monitoring and responding to open tickets submitted through an incidentmanagement system
- Serve as back-up for specific tasks within the IT department as directed
Project Management Application Support Analyst Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical or business area
- Have 4 year(s) of experience working in an applications production support/application development environment
- Prior Project Management (PM) experience
- Knowledge of PM methodologies and scope document creation
- Must have basic knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of multiple systems, as well as an in-depth understanding of the functionality for these systems to troubleshoot and resolve application or infrastructure issues
- SharePoint and/or Dynamics experience a plus
- Prior production support, implementation and system management experience
