Responsibilities of the Medical Billing Specialist :

• Prepare and submit claims to Medicare and Medicaid in compliance with their billing guidelines and regulations.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for Medicare and Medicaid.
• Review and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and rejections.
• Collaborate with the billing team to ensure all claims are processed efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with Medicare and Medicaid billing policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
• Assist in answering patient inquiries related to billing.

Qualifications of the Medical Billing Specialist :

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Billing Specialist in the healthcare industry.
• Proficient knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing procedures.
• Familiarity with billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
