Ashley Furniture HomeStores is the #1 Furniture & Mattress Store in America! We are growing and are looking for a full time Accounts Payable Specialist working 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am - 5pm at our Corporate Office, located at 3725 N. Wells Street in Fort Wayne.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Entering vendor invoices daily
Receiving in merchandise daily
Reviewing & finalizing delivered orders daily
Entering Journal Entries daily
Coordinate check runs weekly
Matching receivers to invoices as needed
Investigate missing inventory/receivers as needed
Scrutinize expense & merchandise invoices as needed
Communicate via phone & email with vendors & staff in regards to receiving and payable issues.
The successful candidate will have:
High School Diploma Required
Degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred
A minimum of 1 year of accounts payable work experience preferred
Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred
Inventory receiving experience helpful, but not required
Detail Oriented, able to multi task, and strong organizational skills required
Solid work history & a great attitude
