Counselor – Extended Care

Duties: Interact with families and campers (boys and girls, ages 3-17) in a positive, nurturing and enriching manner. Supervise all campers assigned to the counselor, in and out of the camp atmosphere, ensuring their safety at all times. Manage campers in all activities and while moving about campus, to ensure consistent engagement and safety for each camper. Provide enriching and creative growth experiences within the camp activities.

Qualifications: High school diploma; childcare experience; superior problem-solving skills and ability to relate with campers, staff, and parents.

Preferred: 18 years of age; currently attending or graduated from college; camp employment experience.

Timeframe: June 19 to August 11; Weekdays only except first and last. Must be able to work the entire length of camp.

Wage: $16.50 per hour.
