Pharmacy Technician - Full Time

As a full time, CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacy Technician , you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs;

billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy.

Schedule : This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7 : 00AM to 3 : 30PM.

About the facility : Collin Springs Hospital is a brand new 58,000 square foot inpatient behavioral health hospital located in McKinney, Texas set to open in late March of 2024.

This facility is a 72 bed, Joint Commission accredited, behavioral health hospital that provides include inpatient and outpatient services to children, adolescent and adults experiencing mental health and addiction challenges Collin Springs is part of Springstone Inc's.

network of mental health facilities. This facility is set to open in late March. 2024 CPS Solution, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy.

This position is an employee of CPS.

About the Pharmacy : The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 7 : 00AM to 3 : 30PM and has a remote service when the pharmacy is closed.

Pharmacy systems include ePharmacy, CPOE and Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets as well as the HCS EMR.

Required Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Texas Pharmacy Technician license
• National Certification through PTCB
• 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or behavioral health setting (preferred)
• Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements (may be required) :

PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months

MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity

• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination)

Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
