The Personal Lines Assistant Account Manager is responsible for helping the Personal Lines Account Managers and department managers with rating their new business accounts and other account management tasks.

Responsibilities

• The Personal Lines Assistant Account Manager works directly at the direction of the Personal Lines Account Managers.
• Answer incoming calls / emails and assist with questions about insurance policies and insurance coverage issues, as well as consumer complaints and general inquiries
• Process client policy changes , verify coverages, and customer inquiries upon request.
• Assist with issuing certificates of insurance for our Personal Lines division
• Handle all incoming mail to the Agency as well as Faxing for the Account Managers
• Assist with sending out renewal letters, amended documents, cancellations, etc.
• Update claims and loss update notices to companies
• Perform other specific duties as assigned by the personal lines account manager

Qualifications

• Must have an active Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Comfortable answering phones and communicating with clients
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in the insurance industry

Job Type : Full-time

License / Certification

State of Florida 4-40 or 2-20 license required.
