We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and cost control. If you have a passion for pricing projects accurately and negotiating contracts effectively, we want to hear from you.
**Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the estimating process for construction projects from start to finish
- Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure estimates align with project requirements
- Utilize software to streamline the estimating process
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing
- Lead a team of estimators to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality estimates
- Implement cost control measures to monitor project expenses and ensure profitability
- Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in construction estimating software
- Strong project management skills to oversee multiple estimates simultaneously
- Ability to build accurate cost estimates based on project requirements
- Knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable contract terms
- Experience in contract review and administration for construction projects
