JOB SUMMARY:
The Bartender will provide friendly, excellent customer service while preparing, pouring and serving drinks for guests. The Bartender will greet all customers insuring they are provided courteous service. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Coyote Valley Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives, and in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Value Statement of the Coyote Valley Casino.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1. Neat and clean personal appearance.
2. Must have outgoing, friendly personality and a cheerful accommodating disposition.
3. Must be able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
Education/Experience:
1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Prior bartending experience, cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
Language Skills:
1. Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
Reasoning Ability:
1. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
2. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
The Employee is also required to be on his/her feet for long periods of time. The employee is also required to bend and reach with hands and arms.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate loud. When on the casino floor, the noise levels increase to loud. Must be able to work in an intense environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform the required job duties.
Other:
1. Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
2. Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified member of the Coyote Valley of Pomo Indian Tribe or qualified Native American candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act (Title 2, U. S Code).
