SUMMARY: The Inventory Clerk is responsible for recording and maintaining control of all inventory items from incoming/outgoing shipments and within the DC. Under general supervision of the Inventory Manager, and in accordance with standard departmental procedures, manages accurate day-to-day inventory control responsibilities by ensuring appropriate products are always stocked and that all inventory is accounted for. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED: Tracks and keeps accurate count of items on hand and utilizes Warehouse Management Software to research, reconcile, and adjust inventory counts. Maintains physical inventories, cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation. General upkeep of the work area observing safety, security and regulatory procedures. Maintains an efficient and organized stock room/warehouse where products are stored according to specifications. Performs additional duties necessitated by job or as requested by Inventory Management, such as assisting with employee training, monitoring supplies, download temperature monitors, etc. Follow established SOPs to ensure compliance with Pharmacy regulations and third-party accreditations. REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Prefer 1 year work experience in a warehouse or production environment. Prefer 1 year of inventory control experience (i.e., cycle counting, inventory tracking, etc.) Prefer at least 1 year of business related Microsoft Office experience (excel and word) Ability to read and understand the English language to effectively read product descriptions, labels, shelves, and other product documents. Ability to understand basic math to ensure accurate product quantities. Ability to operate material handling equipment (electric pallet jack, order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts).
