Cover & Rossiter is an award-winning, full-service CPA accounting and advisory firm providing high-quality advice and personalized service to enable clients to achieve their objectives. We focus on hiring strong, self-motivated candidates to join our energetic, future-ready and achievement-oriented team. Our emphasis on work-life balance and our commitment to investing in our people, as well as leading-edge technology, provides our staff with the flexibility to be successful both professionally and personally.
WHY JOIN THE COVER & ROSSITER TEAM?
Cover & Rossiter is a great place to work with many unique benefits! We work in a beautiful, state-of-the-art office space at Little Falls Centre One. The configuration of the office space and innovative workstations, which include sit-to-stand desks, are intended to facilitate collaboration and improve productivity.
In an industry that is legendary for long hours and burnout, Cover & Rossiter is committed to our employees’ well-being, both in the office and in their personal life. We make a conscious effort to establish plans and policies designed to allow for flexibility and balance between work and home life demands. We began offering telecommuting options nearly 20 years ago – well before most CPA firms would consider such a benefit.
We believe that a firm is only as good as its future leaders, and place a strong emphasis on developing those leaders beyond their technical expertise. We regularly invest in firm-wide professional development initiatives that go beyond accounting and focus on professionalism, accountability and client service. For example, we are especially proud to have had two of our future leaders selected to participate in the AICPA’s Leadership Academy. This program exposes the next generation of CPAs to a strong ethic of leadership and service, providing them with strategies that empower candidates to become leaders within their organizations, communities and the CPA profession. Each year, only 30 CPAs are selected from the hundreds of applications submitted.
In addition, our “CPA Study Buddies” group was created to lessen the anxiety associated with taking the CPA exam by having staff CPAs use their subject matter knowledge along with their own experience studying for the CPA exam. Not only has this helped our CPA candidates pass the various sections of the exam more quickly, but there is a genuine camaraderie and “we’re all in this together” mindset that fosters a strong mentoring relationship going forward.
We are proud to be a two-time winner of the Marvin S. Gilman Superstars in Business Award presented annually by the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. The award honors businesses and nonprofit organizations for their achievements and model approaches to business and management.
