Schedule-Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (onsite, remote not available)

Pay: $20-22 depending on experience

Duties:
-Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
-Calculate and enter employee hours, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
-Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
-Maintain accurate records of employee information, including tax withholding and benefits deductions
-Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
-Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
-Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks
-Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
-Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and benefits administration accomplish assigned tasks.

Experience:
- Previous experience as a payroll clerk or in a similar accounting role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and accounting principles/practices
- Proficiency in 10-key typing and data entry skills
- Familiarity with debits, credits, and general accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Familiarity with account reconciliation processes
- Technical accounting skills are a plus
