Covelo Group is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our Educational Services team for a remote opportunity in Arizona for the '24 - '25 school year!

As a School Psychologist, you will support teachers and administrators by promoting the mental health and well-being of your students. You will foster a positive relationship between the school and families by regularly communicating with parents about their children’s mental health and academic progress. As a mental health professional, your colleagues will look to you to offer best practices, strategies, and solutions to serve the students in your school best.

Primary School Psychologist responsibilities include:

• Working directly with students to develop or improve communication skills, mediate conflict resolution, promote positive peer relationships, and prevent bullying and violence.
• Performing psychological and/or academic assessments and recommending interventions to support students’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health in a learning environment
• Identifying at-risk students and providing crisis prevention strategies as needed.
• Connecting families with community resources and coordinating outside services when appropriate.

Qualifications for this School Psychologist position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.
• Master of Education (MEd) in School Psychology from an accredited university approved by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
• Prior psychology experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
• Current Arizona license to practice as a school psychologist.
• Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential through the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
• BLS certification.
• While this is a remote position, candidates must reside in the state of Arizona, preferably in/around Tucson, Mesa, and/or Sierra Vista.
