Exciting Dental Assistant Opportunity in Boston, MA!

Are you passionate about dentistry and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care? We're seeking a talented Dental Assistant to join the team in Boston, MA!

You'll work under the general supervision of the Senior Dentist to assist during dental procedures, provide office/clerical support, and ensure the smooth operation of the health center.

Your Important Role:

  • Prepare patients for treatment, explain procedures, and assist dentist chairside during procedures by passing instruments and suctioning fluids
  • Clean and prepare treatment areas, sterilize instruments, and ensure proper setup for each patient
  • Assist with patient cleanup after procedures and maintain cleanliness of work area.
  • Perform teeth polishing, take impressions, and assist with construction of dental prostheses.
  • Attend continuing education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Assist with school-based screenings.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as greeting patients, scheduling appointments, ordering office supplies, tracking inventory, maintaining records, and assisting with billing processes

Qualifications We're Looking For:

  • Successful completion of a certified Dental Assistant Program at an accredited institution
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining dental charts and records
  • Strong ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse personnel, patients, and community groups

This pay range represents Covelo Group's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered will be dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
