Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preventing theft within our premises and ensuring a safe environment for both employees and customers. Responsibilities: - Conduct regular patrols to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify suspicious behavior. - Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before law enforcement personnel arrive. - Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities. - Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in case of serious violations. Qualifications: - Proven experience in loss prevention or a related field. - Certificate in Loss Prevention or a similar discipline is preferred. - Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly. - Knowledge of CCTV systems and their operation. - Understanding of criminal investigation procedures.
