Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Night Auditor. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and exceptional customer service abilities.
Duties:
- Perform night audit procedures to reconcile daily hotel transactions and ensure accuracy
- Verify and balance guest accounts, including room charges and taxes
- Prepare and distribute daily reports to management and other departments
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with the check-in and check-out process for guests arriving or departing during the night shift
- Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Respond to emergency situations and follow proper procedures for guest safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotel management, hospitality management, or a related field is required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically
- Familiarity with hotel phone systems and night audit procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fosse Experience is a must
- Professional phone etiquette with the ability to handle high call volumes
