Job description
Night Auditor
Duties:
- Perform night audit functions, including reviewing and reconciling guest accounts, charges, and payments
- Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare daily reports and distribute them to appropriate departments
- Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes as needed
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests
- Handle guest complaints or issues with empathy and problem-solving skills
- Operate phone systems and handle incoming calls professionally
Skills:
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially in languages commonly spoken by hotel guests
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of front desk operations and hotel management systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and report generation
- Previous experience in night audit or hospitality management is preferred
