Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial acumen and experience in various accounting practices.

Responsibilities:

- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintaining financial records
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
- Support payroll processing and ensure accurate payroll management
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and compliance with regulations

Experience:

The successful candidate should possess some of the following skills:

- Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting
- Knowledge of Ceridian, Paychex, or similar payroll systems
- Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Understanding of financial services industry practices
- Proficiency in corporate accounting procedures

CDK experience is a plus as is Automotive Dealership experience.
