The purpose of the class is to perform semi-skilled and skilled work in various painting and related projects as assigned; to assist with general carpentry and minor building construction and renovation work, and to perform related work as required. This class works according to some procedures but decides how or when to do things; work is reviewed regularly by supervisor of Painting.
Requires high school diploma, GED or specialized vocational training.
Must possess a valid state driver"s license.
Requires over one year and up to and including two years of experience.
