Project Director of McLean County"s System of Care Grant
Salary Range: $25.7728
Position Status (Full time or part time): Full-Time (1)
Position Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Position Summary
This position reports to the Director of Behavioral Health Coordination and will take on the role of Project Director (PD) for the System of Care (SOC) Expansion and Sustainability Grant. The PD will work under executive direction to plan and coordinate with local government agencies, behavioral health providers, and social service agencies to facilitate collaboration among all partners at the local level regarding children/youth/young adults (birth to 21 years of age) and
family behavioral health services to meet the goals of the SOC grant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
~ Aid in facilitation of discussion, collaboration, and improved responses to behavioral health services for children and youth and their families
~ Promote, evaluate, and facilitate community and stakeholder involvement, including collecting and analyzing data for grant evaluation and reporting
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
~ Knowledge of general office procedures and the operation of standard office equipment. Individual should be proficient at Microsoft Word and Excel, at minimum.
~ Ability to develop a working knowledge of the county's behavioral health services and programs and community resources
~ Strong active listening, excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings
~ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, other
employees, and community members
Required Qualifications
~ Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of related professional experience in the field(s) of behavioral health, public health, grant management, or related field
~ Prior experience with community-level and/or large-scale project planning and grant
management experience preferred.
Physical Attributes/Demands
This position requires activities such as sitting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing stairs and lifting light to medium objects, operating office equipment, and driving an automobile.
Work Environment
The work is largely performed in an office setting but may also include meetings in various community settings. The work involves exposure to normal, everyday risks that require normal safety precautions typical of offices. Travel will be reimbursed if it is needed for the position's duties. Some remote work is possible for this position
