Position is located at Small Group Therapy - 311 Whittington Ave. Hot Springs, AR

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. PLANS AND IMPLEMENTS NEW AND EXISTING CARE TO MEET CLIENT NEEDS: Conducts on-site and off-site observation of client care and paraprofessional clinical performance. Gathers, organizes and analyzes data on client needs. Reviews care plan with psychiatrist every 90-days or as needed; enters intervention notes as needed; completes billing charges as required. Revises written plans of care and correction per SGT policies, accreditation standards /licensing agencies and/or request of Director or Clinical Supervisor.
2. DIRECTS AND IMPLEMENTS QUALITY SERVICE: Communicates SGT philosophy, goals and objectives, policies and procedures in an effective manner to clients, other agencies and the general public. Ensures timely update on new or changed standards of care; advises team per care requirements; specifies training requirements and monthly in-services for professionals and paraprofessionals; investigates and promptly resolves and/or reports problems or complaints arising from client care issues to the clinical team.
3. INSURES ALL DOCUMENTATION AND CLIENT CARE COMPLY WITH STANDARDS: Arkansas Mental Health Services Standards; Medicaid Regulations; medical records review and other accreditation and/or regulations standards that are applicable.
4. FUNCTIONS AS A TEAM MEMBER: Participates as a member of the clinical treatment team, is responsible, open, honest, positive and cooperative with all team members. Ensures good standing and appropriate communication with all team members and encourages the success of the self-governing clinical team process. Attends all team meetings.
5. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

• Knowledge of the principles and practices of mental health per Arkansas Mental Health, Medicaid regulations, and CARF Standards.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of program planning.
• Knowledge of mental health policies and procedures.
• Ability to plan and implement services and programs.
• Ability to monitor the work of Paraprofessionals and others.
• Ability and willing to serve as a team member.
