Cosmo Products is Hiring an Office Assistant Near Montclair, CA

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Light receptionist duties : welcome on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Recruits and interviews all potential candidates for all positions across the organization including posting job openings, processing job applications, managing resumes, arranging interviews, updating candidates, and will assist with new hire orientation
  • Partners with management to communicate job responsibilities for each position to prepare job description
  • Planning, scheduling and conducting internal performance evaluation.
  • First point of contact for employees that require assistance with issues relating to HR related issues relating to benefits, training, time-off requests, payroll, etc
  • May assist in scheduling training, compiling training material, managing training attendance and/or conducting employee training on an as-needed basis
  • Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data
  • Purchasing general office and warehouse supplies and maintaining office supplies stockroom
  • Other general office / administrative duties may be assigned (we are looking for someone adaptable and willing to grow)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working in an administrative/HR capacity
  • Friendly attitude with excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
  • Requires excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deal with sensitive employment issues
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws
  • Able to multitask and work in a team environment
  • Computer Savvy (Must type at least 50 wpm)
  • Proficiency in navigating recruiting websites (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, etc.)
  • Must be proficient in computer knowledge including MS Office Suite products
  • High School diploma preferred
  • All candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to Relocate:

  • Montclair, CA 91763: Relocate before starting work (Required)
