Cortina Solutions is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the team supporting the Sea Based X-Band (SBX) Radar for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The Senior Program Manager coordinates with the MDA Program Office and the contractor team to support the BMDS mission execution during both test and real-world contingency operations. This position is responsible for overseas mission planning, vessel movements, shipyard planning, Mission Integration crew rotation scheduling, material movements, and test event coordination. The Senior Program Manager has overall program cost, schedule, quality assurance, and risk management responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply program acquisition life cycle requirements (DoDD 5000, FAR, DFAR, DoD Regulations) to the overall management of the SBX Mission Integration Program.
• Manage the development and delivery of multiple Contract Requirements Data List (CDRL) documents following the reference Data Item Description (DiD).
• Develop Contract Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to include plan for budgets, cost management, tracking, subcontractor cost, and submission of the CSDR.
• Provide management, oversight, and guidance to subcontractors.
• Manage a seasoned and experienced team in coordinating deployments, crew rotations, logistics, purschasing, network maintenance, and test coordination and planning.
• Provide oversight to the management of an extensive GFP list.
• Provide leadership for the overall SBX Mission Integration contract. Approve timecards, provide direct supervision, perform annual performance reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 15 years' experience in program management 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Travel up to 10% to vessel 
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Earned Value Management System implementation and execution
• Network engineering and maintenance
• Engineering specification and drawing reviews
• Management or execution of SBX tasks and mission
• Use of Deltek Costpoint for program financials
