Ignite is looking for a Senior Executive Information Technology Program Manager with strong Business Development capabilities. Apart from their education and experience, they must have every quality of a leader, a growth mindset, and a strong strategic and business acumen. The goal is to ensure that as they set forth to grow Ignite's customer base and manage current programs, information technology continues to add maximum value to facilitate the success of our company. They will devise the company’s IT strategy and ensure that all systems necessary to support its operations and objectives are in place. An excellent Senior IT Program Manager must have a solid IT background and consistently keep up-to-date with advancements of the field. S/he will broaden Ignite’s portfolio of Digital Engineering delivery, quals, and customer relationships, as well as amplify Ignite’s brand externally as a technology leader and innovator.

The successful candidate will have the ability to attract and develop tech talent throughout the organization, as well as identify, cultivate, and commit to strategic partnerships for Ignite’s long-term success.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Set objectives and strategies for the IT department
  • Business Development of assigned capture initiatives 
  • Program Management of assigned federal contracts
  • Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits
  • Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience
  • Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization
  • Approve purchases of technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with IT providers
  • Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance
  • Direct and organize IT-related projects
  • Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage
  • Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions
  • Responsible for managing government contracts and customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 15 years of experience 
  • Business Development
  • Program Management
  • Proven track record of being a strong, client facing leader with market presence and business development capabilities
  • Federal contracting experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software systems related to Ignite’s business portfolio
  • Deltek/Costpoint Experience Required
  • Ability to develop custom dashboards for Ignite C-Suite and customers

Must be a US citizen and have a Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one
