You will be responsible for directing the corporate team with all financial aspects to report our operations. We manage our entities in our cloud-based software. Our owners are active in the operations and want to implement processes for future growth. You will report to the CFO in your capacity with the future opportunity to grow.

Controller Job Responsibilities:

• Supports organization financial objectives by providing financial analyses and recommendations and directing staff (two) with an additional one staff you will hire after assessing the current team’s organization and strength.
• Develops accounting organizational strategies by contributing accounting and financial information, analysis, and recommendations for strategic thinking and direction, and establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
• Establishes accounting operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies, designing systems, accumulating resources, resolving problems, and implementing change.
• Implement a timely and consistent close process and account reconciliations for your team.
• Provides financial projections by coordinating budget/forecast preparation, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial information, and advising departments on the collection and analysis of data.
• Maintains sufficient funds by forecasting cash requirements and obligations.
• Minimizes legally required taxes by working with the outsourced CPA firm and having some knowledge of regulations, tax strategies, and tax returns.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• BS or BA in accounting
• Three to six years of relevant accounting experience
• CPA preferred
• Accounting management experience
• Experience supervising clerical accounting staff.
• Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivables.
