Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant

Location: Fort Worth, TX (N 360 and Trinity Blvd

Length of assignment: Long term temp

Pay: $18-$20/hr BOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm, possible OT

Responsibilities:

• Assist freight payables coordinator to maintain all freight accounts current utilizing vendor statements and coordinating directly with vendors as needed. Back up coordinator as needed.
• Utilize internal Microsoft Access database to allocate appropriate general ledger and cost centers for large volume invoices.
• Apply cost allocation matrix and submit invoices to accounts payable for payment processing.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure accounts are current and avoid any service disruptions.

Requirements:

• REQUIRED 2 years of accounts payable experience
• Required: at minimum Intermediate Excel skills
• SAP is a plus
• Process improvement and customer focused mindset
• Proven ability to multi-task
• High learning agility
• Strong problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong collaborator with team members and business partners
• Strong integrity and work ethic with an ability to self-manage
• Strong time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
